• Teaches: Hip Hop & Open Style Choreography

  • What I love about teaching: I love teaching because it gives me the chance to share the joy and energy that dance has brought into my own life. Hip hop/open style choreography are all about expression, confidence, connection and helping dancers discover their own voice through movement is the best reward. Watching someone grow from feeling unsure to moving with freedom and confidence inspires me just as much as I hope to inspire them. I used to struggle with repetition, grooves, and even listening to music in class, which often left me frustrated. But as I kept training and gaining experience throughout my dance journey, I learned to recognize those weaknesses and focus on turning them into strengths. That growth taught me patience and discipline, and now I love teaching because I get to help others push through their own challenges and discover how much they’re capable of.

  • Fun Fact: I started dancing at 10 years old in the Philippines by imitating Michael Jackson and the Jabbawockeez. When I moved to the U.S. at 17, I began learning the culture and foundations of hip hop, which deepened my love and knowledge of dance. After moving to Las Vegas; where my inspiration, the Jabbawockeez, were based, I began freestyling with them. One of the members even became my mentor. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to teach classes in Japan, the Philippines, and Las Vegas, collaborate with Brian Puspos (one of my earliest inspirations) and even win competitions like World of Dance and Hip Hop International!
